Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT):
The Indian Air Force is one of the most prestigious organizations in the nation. Twice a year, it conducts the Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) for recruiting graduates to various posts. The test is conducted in February and August. Advertisements inviting applications for AFCAT are released in June and December. This is followed by screening by the Air Force Selection Board (AFSB). Shortlisted candidates have to appear before the board and undergo a number of tests.

Eligibility Conditions:

  • SVG Icon Nationality: The candidate must be a citizen of India.
  • SVG Icon Age: 20 – 24 years,(general)
  • SVG Icon Duration: 15 – 30 days
  • SVG Icon Flying Branch through AFCAT and NCC Special Entry: 20 to 24 years.
  • SVG Icon The upper age limit for = a Commercial Pilot License issued by DGCA (India) is relaxed able up to 26 years
  • SVG Icon Ground Duty (Technical & Non-Technical)
  • SVG Icon Marital Status: Candidates below 25 years of age must be unmarried

FLYING BRANCH


Candidates should have mandatorily passed with a minimum of 60% marks each in Math and Physics at 10+2 level and Graduation or BE/B Tech degree from a recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent or Candidates who have cleared Section A & B examination of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India from a recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent.

AFCAT stands for “Air Force Common Admission Test” and is also referred to as the “Indian Air Force Exam”.

AFCAT is a national-level competitive exam conducted by the Indian Air Force (IAF) to select officers for all its branches, except for the medical and dental branches

Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) is conducted twice a year by Indian Air Force. PTC Aviation Academy will help you to clear AFCAT exam – SSB (Staff Selection Board), SSC (Staff Selection Commission).

AFCAT – AIR FORCE COMMON ADMISSION TEST information , 

AFCAT application form: The application form of AFCAT will be released along with the notification.

Appearing in AFCAT online exam: AFCAT exam is conducted online in multiple shifts. The exam comprises questions from General Awareness, Verbal Ability in English, Numerical Ability and Reasoning and Military Aptitude Test. The total duration of the test is two hours. The total marks for the test are 300
