Private Pilot License – PPL

Private Pilot License PPL is the first stage in your pilot career since you will be given this licence, which is a permit to fly alone, with family, with friends and on flights that are not for profit. After passing the theoretical exam of the concerned government authority and after passing the practical exam with the examiner you are eligible to get this licence. You ARE NOT permitted to work as a pilot with this licence.

In general, a minimum of 40 flight hours are needed to apply for this licence. There might be differences between nations. Primarily between the minimum amount of time spent in a real aeroplane and the maximum amount of time permitted in an approved certified flight simulator by the aeronautical authorities.
